How much time should you leave between flights?
International flights land at Ezeiza and many domestic and regional flights leave from Aeroparque, which is inside the city, on the riverside Costanera. If you arrive from abroad and connect to a domestic flight, add up:
- Immigration, baggage claim and Customs at Ezeiza. It depends on the flight and the queue: this is the part that varies the most.
- The drive from Ezeiza to Aeroparque: 40 to 50 minutes late at night or on weekends, and 1 hour to 1 hour 30 at weekday rush hour. It is about the same as going to Palermo, where Aeroparque is: roughly 35 km.
- Being at Aeroparque 2 hours before your domestic flight: that is what Flybondi, for example, recommends (its check-in counter closes 45 minutes before departure).
Without immigration or baggage, that is already 3 hours 30 at rush hour (1 h 30 drive + 2 h before the flight). That is why we recommend 5 hours or more between landing and take-off: with less, a late flight or heavy traffic leaves you no margin.
The other way round (a domestic flight into Aeroparque and an international departure from Ezeiza): collect your bags if they are not checked through, make the drive and be at Ezeiza 3 hours before the international flight. Leaving 5 hours or more is also a good idea.
Tips for a smooth connection

- If your departure is between 6 and 9 pm on a weekday, leave earlier: that is rush hour.
- If your bags are not checked through to your final destination, allow time to collect and re-check them.

Is there a bus between Ezeiza and Aeroparque?
Since June 2026 the NEO (Grupo Metropol) shuttle between the two airports no longer runs, according to iProfesional (June 1, 2026).
